Our school’s actual history starts in 1906, when Emperor Frantiek Josef issued a decree creating the agricultural department at the Czech Technical University (CVST). Professor Stoklasa, a well-known agricultural specialist, was elected dean after that. The four-year course lasted four years, and the creation of this department marked the culmination of several years of work.
